This original piece was created in a very spontaneous way. I began with texture — building layers freely and intuitively, allowing the surface to develop its own character. The cracks, depth, and raw structure came first. Only after the texture felt complete did I begin working with color, letting earthy tones and soft contrasts settle naturally into the surface.

The face emerged last.

From the textured, imperfect background, a beautiful and calm face slowly appeared — almost as if it was always meant to be there. The cracked surface represents imperfection, history, and vulnerability, while the face symbolizes inner beauty and quiet strength. I love the contrast between rough texture and soft expression — finding beauty within imperfection.

Touches of gold bring light into the composition, adding elegance and a subtle, stunning glow. The golden details catch the light differently throughout the day, giving the artwork a refined and timeless presence.
